Rigibot Automated Systems
PLC-controlled basket transport for repeatable cleaning cycles—with RoTumbler rotation available for difficult bulk parts.
Custom sizes are available. Standard tank, chamber, basket, fixture and material-handling configurations can be tailored to the application.
Custom tank sizes available.
Consistent basket handling with less operator intervention
Rigibot automation moves work through Crest cleaning benches using protected process recipes and a graphical touchscreen interface. It can be supplied with a new system or field-mounted to many existing benches, improving cycle consistency, reducing handling and providing a path to process-data capture.
Protected processing
Crash protection, PLC recipes and controlled basket movement help reduce errors and downtime.
Two load platforms
The CTS-250 supports lighter, cleanroom-compatible loads; the CTS-2000 handles loads up to 200 pounds.
Retrofit flexibility
Countertop-mounted architecture and compact transport hardware can add automation without replacing the cleaning line.
Automation and rotation options
Select transport capacity and part handling around basket weight, geometry and process sequence.
| Option | Best suited for | Key capabilities |
|---|---|---|
| CTS-250 Rigibot | Smaller baskets and cleanroom-compatible applications | 25 lb lift capacity • belt drive • precision bearings • compact footprint |
| CTS-2000 transport | Heavy industrial baskets | Up to 200 lb lift capacity • PLC-controlled two-axis transport |
| RoTumbler rotation | Bulk small parts that nest, trap air or cup liquid | In-process rotation • back-drain rotation • custom basket configurations |
Custom sizes are available. eChem and Crest can evaluate tank dimensions, baskets, fixtures, material handling, ultrasonics and supporting equipment for your application.
Automation capacity must include the basket, fixtures and wet load. eChem can help confirm lift requirements, dwell times and facility constraints.
RoTumbler and automation capabilities
RoTumbler is an integrated material-handling option—not a separate cleaning process—and can be paired with Optimum Console automation where part geometry benefits from rotation.
- Graphical color touchscreen operator interface
- Multiple protected process programs and parameter control
- Optional process data for offline analysis
- Crash protection and field-installable architecture
- Easy-load ergonomic rotating baskets
- In-tank rotation for improved ultrasonic exposure
- Back-drain rotation to reduce rinse and dryer carryover
- Standard and custom rotating, flat and rectangular baskets
Build the right cleaning process
eChem can evaluate your parts, soils, throughput, chemistry, utilities and cleanliness requirements before a Crest system is specified.
