Spray-Immersion Cabinet Parts Washer
Engineered for a multitude of tough-to-clean parts with complex geometries and intricate bores.
The TYPHOON®-SI is a compact, ergonomically designed parts washer ideal for precision cleaning of machined components. It integrates seamlessly into manufacturing cells and handles a wide range of complex small- to medium-sized parts using standard baskets (two or six) or custom-engineered PROCECO fixtures.
This washer features fully recirculated, aqueous immersion wash and rinse stages. During each wet-process stage, the rotating basket fixture is power-sprayed by V-jet nozzles, filling the immersion tank. Basket rotation during immersion and power spraying ensures thorough cleaning and complete contamination removal. Post-wash, the parts are sprayed without immersion, preventing re-contamination.
A high-pressure regenerative blower effectively removes excess water, with an optional heater available for added drying efficiency.
For enhanced cleaning performance, an optional ultrasonic cleaning feature can be added. The ultrasonic system uses mechanical cavitation from sonic waves to remove fine residues and particles from workpiece surfaces, particularly in hard-to-reach areas, ensuring an even more comprehensive cleaning process.
