CC 2000X is used to remove and disperse lubricants, lapping compounds, machining residues, fingerprints and particulates, including contamination associated with disk-drive components.
As with any precision-cleaning chemistry, concentration, temperature, ultrasonic energy, rinse quality and bath maintenance should be validated together on representative parts.
Application method
A clear, repeatable starting procedure
- Review substrate, soil and cleanliness requirements.
- Establish concentration, temperature and ultrasonic exposure using representative parts.
- Confirm rinse quality, drying and residue performance.
- Monitor bath condition and replace or filter according to the validated process.
Use note: Confirm the current label, TDS and SDS before use. Test compatibility in an inconspicuous area and train operators on dilution, PPE, dwell time, recovery and disposal.
