Clean parts—without silicate residue
Ultra Clean 3018 is a liquid, mildly alkaline cleaner for stainless steel, titanium, aluminum and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Its non-silicated formulation helps parts emerge clean and bright without the white powdery residue associated with traditional silicated products.
Wetting agents support soil penetration while the free-rinsing formula helps limit scale and sludge in spray washers, immersion systems, ultrasonic tanks and on heating elements.

Meets PWA 36604 criteria
Ultra Clean 3018 meets PWA 36604 criteria and was evaluated so that residual process material would not be detrimental to the following alloys when exposed to elevated temperature. Create a PMC when required by the applicable process specification.

Directions for use
Establish the operating window
UC 3018 can be used from approximately 125°F to 180°F. A 3–5% by-volume range is a practical starting point for many soils, with concentrations up to 10% used for especially difficult cleaning requirements.
Validate concentration, temperature, dwell time, mechanical action, rinsing and bath-maintenance practices on representative parts before production release.
