Product overview

Built around the cleaning result

Ultra Clean C 834 is a highly alkaline liquid cleaner/degreaser used in spray washing or parts washers and cleaning systems for heavy-duty, general-purpose cleaning of most metal surfaces. Ultra Clean C 834 effectively cleans most soils encountered on metal surfaces. Ultra Clean C 834 contains wetting agents to enhance the natural cleaning ability of alkalis. Ultra Clean C 834 is not recommended for use on aluminum.

GENERAL INFORMATION: If additional cleaning power is needed, due to excessive soil conditions, a detergent/wetting agent may be added. Your representative will assist you in making this determination. Whenever a portion of the bath is lost from whatever cause, the working volume should be restored with the same proportion of CLEANER C 834 and water as used for a fresh bath. AFTER TREATMENT:

Following the cleaning stage, the work in process should be rinsed with water-heat as required up to 180° F. and depending on subsequent treatment to be used. Spray pressure should be 20 to 40 psi.

Process development

Specify chemistry and equipment together

Cleaning performance depends on the complete process: chemistry, concentration, temperature, time, mechanical action, filtration, rinsing, drying and bath maintenance.

eChem can review representative parts and soils, identify the right starting point, and help validate the process before it is released to production.

Current documentation

TDS and SDS review

Always confirm the latest technical and safety data before use. Availability, packaging and regulatory status can change.

Application note: Final chemistry selection and operating parameters should be confirmed against the current TDS/SDS and tested on representative parts, soils and downstream requirements.
