Precision and vapor cleaning
Tergo HDF Heavy Degreasing Fluid
High-strength, nonflammable precision solvent for stubborn soils.
Product overview
Built around the cleaning result
Tergo HDF is an aggressive, azeotrope-like cleaning fluid developed for heavy hydrocarbons, greases, caramelized residues, waxes, silicone oils, rosin and other difficult soils in open-top or vacuum vapor degreasers.
Its low surface tension, low viscosity and high liquid density support penetration into complex geometry, while fast drying and recovery by simple distillation help make the process practical for demanding production environments.
MicroCare identifies Tergo HDF as a zero-ODP, very-low-GWP replacement option for legacy solvents including HCFCs, nPB, PFCs and TCE. Compatibility and cleanliness should be validated on representative parts before production use.
Process development
Specify chemistry and equipment together
Cleaning performance depends on the complete process: chemistry, concentration, temperature, time, mechanical action, filtration, rinsing, drying and bath maintenance.
eChem can review representative parts and soils, identify the right starting point, and help validate the process before it is released to production.
Current documentation
TDS and SDS review
Always confirm the latest technical and safety data before use. Availability, packaging and regulatory status can change.
