Jetblast Airless Range

The four impellor blades revolving at 2800rpm direct the media upwards at a high velocity through the heavy-duty barrel, with cleaning components tumbling inside. Dust and debris are removed and collected throughout the blast cycle, with 16 air changes per minute ensuring clean, dust-free components.

Process capability

This machine uses abrasive and four impellor blades at 2800rpm to clean componentsThe Jetblast Airless range is an automatic airless range of dry blasting cleaning machines designed to operate from a single or three-phase electricity supply.

Configuration flexibility

Dry blasting cleaning machines from the Jetblast Airless range are free-standing, requiring no special foundations and extremely compact for today’s growing market. They are ideally suited to cleaning components which can be tumble-blasted using steel shot to remove rust, scale and paint removal.

How the process comes together

STAGE 1

Load and fixture

Present the component to the blast stream manually, in a tumbler or through an automated fixture.

STAGE 2

Deliver abrasive

Suction, pressure-fed or airless equipment accelerates selected dry media toward the surface.

STAGE 3

Control exposure

Nozzle motion, part rotation, cycle time and media are matched to the required finish.

STAGE 4

Recover media

Reusable abrasive is separated from dust and debris before the next cycle.
