Clear information about how eChem handles website and inquiry data.

This Privacy Policy applies to echemproducts.com and explains what information we collect, why we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

Effective date: September 1, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to information collected through eChem’s website, contact and consultation forms, correspondence, and related website technologies. It does not govern the independent privacy practices of manufacturers, service providers, or third-party websites that may be linked from this site.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you contact eChem or request a consultation, we may receive your name, company, email address, business address, location, application details, equipment or chemistry requirements, and the content of your message.

Communications. We may retain emails and other correspondence needed to respond to requests, prepare recommendations, provide support, maintain business records, or comply with legal obligations.

Technical and usage information. The website and its service providers may collect information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, dates and times of access, and interactions with the site.

Cookies and similar technologies. Cookies, pixels, local storage, and comparable technologies may be used for essential functionality, preferences, security, traffic measurement, performance analysis, and advertising measurement.

3. How we use information

We may use collected information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and consultation requests.
  • Evaluate cleaning, finishing, chemical, and parts-processing applications.
  • Prepare product, equipment, process, or service recommendations.
  • Coordinate quotations, technical support, and follow-up communications.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
  • Measure website traffic, marketing performance, and visitor interest.
  • Meet contractual, recordkeeping, safety, and legal obligations.

4. Analytics, advertising, and consent choices

eChem uses Google Site Kit and may use Google Analytics and Google Ads tags to understand website performance, measure campaign activity, and improve outreach. These services may process device identifiers, cookie data, approximate location, and website interactions where permitted.

The website uses a consent-management platform that communicates your choices through the WordPress Consent API and Google Consent Mode. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be able to accept, reject, or manage categories of non-essential technologies. Browser-based signals such as Global Privacy Control may also be honored where supported.

You can review or change your choices on the Opt-out Preferences page. You may also limit cookies through your browser settings, although doing so can affect some site functions.

5. When information may be disclosed

We may disclose information only as reasonably necessary to operate the business and fulfill your request, including to:

  • Website hosting, security, analytics, advertising, email, and form-service providers.
  • Equipment or chemistry manufacturers when needed to evaluate an application, obtain technical guidance, or prepare a quotation.
  • Professional advisers, insurers, regulators, or authorities when required for legal, safety, or compliance purposes.
  • A successor or acquiring organization in connection with a merger, sale, reorganization, or transfer of business assets.

eChem does not sell personal information for money. Certain analytics or advertising activities may constitute “sharing” under California law, and eligible visitors may opt out through the consent controls described above.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to support an ongoing business relationship, resolve disputes, maintain records, and satisfy legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Please do not submit passwords, payment-card information, health information, export-controlled technical data, or other unnecessary confidential information through public website forms.

7. California privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and verification requirements, California residents may have the right to request access to categories or specific pieces of personal information, request correction or deletion, learn about sources and disclosures, opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising, and receive equal service without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights.
