Precision solvent cleaning in a compact system

The Solvac S1 combines ultrasonic immersion cleaning, vapor rinsing and freeboard drying in a compact sealed platform. It is designed for modern non-flammable solvents and applications ranging from rugged industrial parts to critically clean components.

Sealed operation

An automatic compression lid helps retain solvent, reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency throughout the cycle.

Controlled solvent use

Vapotronic electronic pulse modulation supplies heat only as required, reducing solvent loss and electrical demand.

Production-ready controls

A color touchscreen PLC provides cycle control, diagnostics, process status and convenient data access.

How the Solvac S1 process works

A controlled, repeatable sequence carries parts from contaminated to clean and dry with minimal operator handling.

STAGE 1

Ultrasonic wash

High-frequency cavitation removes oils, grease, solder flux, wax and other difficult soils.

STAGE 2

Vapor rinse

Fresh distilled solvent condenses on cooler parts to rinse away loosened contamination.

STAGE 3

Controlled cooling

Enhanced refrigeration maintains an effective freeboard zone and supports solvent retention.

STAGE 4

Drying

Parts leave the sealed cycle clean and dry, minimizing operator handling and floor-space requirements.

Custom sizes are available. eChem and Crest can evaluate tank dimensions, baskets, material handling, ultrasonics and supporting equipment for your application.

Production benefits

Lower operating cost

Solvent-retention technology and demand-based heating reduce consumable and electrical expense.

Safer material handling

The internal lifter interlocks with the lid so hoist movement is controlled while the system is open.

Clear process visibility

A multicolor LED status strip and touchscreen communicate cycle state and simplify diagnostics.

Broad application fit

Effective for medical, aerospace, automotive, electronics, optical and general industrial components.

Connectivity

Front-panel Ethernet and USB access support data export, remote access and firmware updates.

Compact footprint

A complete automated solvent process occupies less floor space and reduces operator involvement.
